Abstract:
The development of information technologies has produced an essential change both in terms of knowledge acquisition needs and the way study programs are offered in educational institutions. Nowadays distance education is becoming widespread in many countries of the world. It has a number of advantages and disadvantages. The most important aspect of this type of training is that students are separated in time and space from the educational institutions. This article is devoted to studying the forms of distance education, the situation in the Republic of Moldova concerning this type of education. We used the method of statistical data analysis, the method of document analysis, the comparative method.
