Abstract:
The article reveals the basic problems of sustainable development of rural areas, and the relationship between its components (economic, social and environmental). On the basis of the environmental risk assessment, the author formed a conceptual framework of food security and sustainable rural development and the role of its vertically integrated agro-industrial enterprises.
