A COMPANY’S VIABILITY: ESSENCE, SPHERE OF APPLICATION AND METHODOLOGIAL BASES FOR ESTIMATION

Abstract: In the article there is offered the author’s interpretation of the essence of the term «viability of an enterprise», it is described feasibility of its use in a crisis management process (identification of crisis and its profoundness) and in economic management (a target imperative, a basis of creation of tools). It is offered a model which incorporates 5 components (parameters) of viability and allows to give reasons (sequence) for losing viability as a result of their violation. It is presented a methodological approach to the estimation of a viability state, availability of crisis and its type at the corporate level. The use of viability is described in certain instruments of economic management.
