Abstract: The current study is concerned with the knowledge sharing practices of university teachers in Pakistan. The prime purpose of this study was exploring the different types of knowledge, different channels used by teachers, and identification of different factors in knowledge sharing process. The semi structured interviews with 15 heads of different department were conducted. The researcher personally approached to respondents and collected the data. The main findings indicated that majority of respondents shared that although they considered technology as a powerful knowledge spreading. The study recommends that there is the dire need to provide the organizational support to these practices by developing a broad mechanism of knowledge sharing.
