Basic Analysis on Labor Productivity in Japanese Home-visit Bathing Care Industry: Evidence from Establishment-Level Data

Abstract: 本稿は，厚生労働省がインターネット上で公開している「介護サービス情報の公表」制度にかかる公表データの事業所別データを用いて，訪問入浴介護の労働生産性を分析した。分析の結果，下記の諸点が明らかとなった。（１）鈴木（2020）による訪問介護の分析結果と同様，訪問入浴介護についても事業所別の労働生産性には大きな格差が生じている。（２）事業所別の労働生産性には，同一法人が持つ事業所数の規模の利益，同一法人が実施している他の介護事業に関する範囲の利益（一部，範囲の不利益），競争環境，操業期間によるラーニング効果，地域の人口要因，サービスの質などが影響している。規模の利益に関しては，１法人１事業所の場合には特に労働生産性が低い。事業所の労働者数についてはむしろ規模の不利益がある。これらの特徴は，鈴木（2020）によって，訪問介護について観察された結果と概ね似通っている。
