Abstract: COVID-19 lockdown showed a decrease in pediatric emergency department visits mainly due to the fear of contracting SARS CoV-2 and it was potentially life-threatening for children. We describe a case of celiac disease in which the delayed access to health care led to a severe form of celiac crisis..
