Oxalis pes-caprae (O. pes-caprae) is a perennial herbaceous plant of the Oxalidaceae family, native to South Africa. View the richness of plants in bioactive secondary metabolites, researchers devoted much attention, in recent decades, to natural components and their potential biological activity as an antioxidant, antimicrobial etc.
