Abstract: Dark-without-pressure fundus lesion (DWP) is a rare, not wellknown entity and its etiology is not yet well understood. It was officially first described in 1975 by Nagpal, et al. [1] in a series of case reports of 7 patients of African origin, 6 having sickle cell haemoglobinopathies and one with arterial hypertension.
