Abstract:
Non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) indexes, like Fibrosis-4 (Fib-4) score and NAFLD fibrosis score (NFS) can be used for the exclusion of advanced fibrosis. On the other hand, the menopausal transition has been associated with an accrual of cardiometabolic risk factors, which contribute to the risk for NAFLD and low handgrip strength (HGS). We aimed to assess the possible association between Fib-4 score and NFS and HGS, in a sample of postmenopausal women.
