Abstract: Cannabis sativa (hemp, marijuana, ganja) is a plant with industrial, medicinal, and recreational uses that synthesizes phytocannabinoids, a group of compounds from which tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) and cannabidiol (CBD) outstand by their known high and low psychoactive properties.
