Abstract: This review is intended to give a general idea of the basic methods for studying the structure of cells and bacteria. This direction is of great importance for any clinician and is gaining immense popularity around the world due to its accuracy and cost-effectiveness. This review considers such areas of methods as cytomorphology, cytophysiology, cytochemistry and cytogenetics.
