Abstract: The relationship between the activity of moths, as indicated by pheromone traps, to solar activity and Earth magnetism was investigated in North Carolina, USA. Relationships were found but species differed in their responses. These results are similar to those found in light- and pheromone trapping data on moth and caddisfly species in Hungary and Australia.
