Abstract: Modern theories of facial aging are based on the concept that bone structures play an important role in inducing the typical aged face. This study evaluated the efficacy and tolerance of a new gel, which was injected over the periosteum in a standardized pattern in order to reduce the typical aging defects due to absorption and distortion of the bony facial tissue, replacing the deep support of the overlying soft tissue. The study was a multicentric, non-controlled clinical trial.
