Abstract:
The role-playing method shown in this report was used as a teaching strategy on 153 dental students enrolled in the Orofacial Pain and Temporomandibular Disorders course, with the goal of helping students recognize the impact that thoughts and feelings have on pain perception and to facilitate learning on how to carry a pain history. Role play was applied as an assignment, using a video format.
