Abstract:
The mechanistic underpinnings of olfactory receptor (OR)-odorant interactions have yet to be completely understood. This stymies our understanding of how we perceive specific odors, odorants or combinations of odorants. We used computational methodologies to address OR-odorant interactions from a novel perspective-that of the odorant.
