Abstract: LInfections due to opportunistic organisms are an important cause of morbidity and mortality in kidney transplant recipients. The risk of infections depends on various factors such as the time after transplantation, the degree of immunosuppression and exposure to infectious pathogens. Opportunistic infections due to tuberculosis and concomitant aspergillosis are rare presentations [1,2].
