Abstract:
This article explores the ethnomedical system of Natore, a district located in the northern region of Bangladesh. Through the lens of medical pluralism, the coexistence of different medical systems is examined, particularly the traditional Kabiraji system, which uses local herbs and plants to treat various ailments. The objective is to analyze the power dynamics between different medical systems, with a focus on how modern biomedical hegemony influences healthcare discourse and practices in the region.
