Abstract: Colorectal cancer is one of the most frequent malignancies. Single nucleotide polymorphism may contribute to an increased or decreased cancer risk. The ABCB1/MDR1 gene seems to play an important role in tumor progression. The aim of this study is to associate genotypes and/or alleles of the polymorphism with different phenotypes in CRC patients.
