Abstract: Contraception, which is also known as birth control, is the use of drugs, various devices, agents, sexual practices or surgical procedures to prevent conception or pregnancy. The aim of this study was to determine the level of knowledge about the use of contraceptives and factors that influence their choice of contraceptives among women attending family planning clinic in a teaching hospital in Enugu, Nigeria.
