Abstract:
The renal ectopy is a rare clinical condition that occurs due to a defect in the embryogenesis of the kidneys, causing them to occupy different locations than usual. The urothelial carcinoma of the upper urinary tract in an ectopic kidney represents a rare clinical entity with few cases described in the literature.
