Abstract: This work explores the ontological theories, and their methodologies, regarding the origins and nature of consciousness in the multiverse. The paper critically assesses Mocombe’s consciousness field theory within the larger body of contemporary ontological debates, and their methodologies, regarding the nature, origin, and constitution of consciousness, especially human consciousness, in the world.
