Abstract: Kidney cancer occurs due to the abnormal growth and division of cells. This phenomenon occurs when an injured cell grows and multiplies, giving rise to several abnormal cells forming a tumor (Alberts, et al. [1]). Renal carcinoma originates in the kidneys, essential organs for normal and healthy functioning. The kidneys belong to the urinary system and have several functions, including the excretory function, responsible for filtering the blood and producing urine, which expels substances that in large quantities would be harmful to the body; the regulatory function of internal volume and acid-base balance
