Abstract: Controlled Ovarian Stimulation (COS) is one of the crucial components of assisted reproductive technology. Progestin-Primed Ovarian Stimulation (PPOS) is a recently popularized COS method; however, the exact mechanism by which it suppresses ovulation remains unclear. kisspeptin, situated upstream of gonadotropinreleasing hormone (GnRH), promotes the secretion of follicle-stimulating hormone and luteinizing hormone, thereby inducing ovulation.
