Abstract: The benefits and challenges of foreign missions have been of impact to the low- and middle-income countries. For many years, these missions have been taking place in sub-Saharan Africa especially in central, east, and west Africa. In this review article, we discuss the benefits and challenges of cardiac mission in the sub-region.
