In2021, it is estimated that 537 million people have diabetes, and this number is projected to reached 643 million by 2030, and 783 million by 2045.The countries with the largest numbers of adults with diabetes aged 20-79 years in 2021 are China, India and Pakistan. They are anticipated to remain so in 2045. According to the latest epidemiological surveys, the prevalence of diabetes in people aged 18 years and above in China is 11.2%, and the prevalence is increasing year by year [1]. The prevention and treatment of diabetes has brought heavy economic burden and social pressure to China and even the rest of the world.
