Abstract:
The embryological remnant known as the pyramidal lobe (PL) is frequently discovered during thyroidectomy, and its excision is crucial in lowering the risk of recurrence. The existence of the PL and other anatomic abnormalities may affect the effectiveness of surgical intervention and the overall accuracy of thyroidectomy.
