Abstract: Literature on Emergency Services especially Emergency Medical Services (EMS) in Africa is very scanty. Authors usually write about public health and mention the contribution of EMS in few paragraphs. It is therefore plausible for this author to conduct research on Emer- gency Services in Sub-Sahara Africa: Challenges and Opportunities. The research raises issues that Emergency Services Practitioners should develop interest in it.
