Abstract:
Hypertension and diabetes mellitus are common comorbidities that significantly increase the risk of cardiovascular and renal complications. The dual burden of these conditions is especially concerning in low-resource settings like Sudan, where non-communicable diseases are on the rise. This study aims to assess the prevalence of hypertension among diabetic patients in Wad-Medani, Gezira State, Sudan, and to explore associated risk factors.
