Congenital teratomas of the oropharyngeal cavity are extremely rare and are associated with a high neonatal mortality rate due to severe airway obstruction. Treatment has improved with progress in di- agnosis during pregnancy. The authors describes a case of an infant who underwent surgery at 32 days of age.
