Abstract:
Canine parvovirus is an infectious contagious disease that first appeared in North America, specifically in the United States (US) in 1977. Later in 1978, a severe outbreak was detected in the south of this country, which spread to Canada and later to the rest of the world. At the national level, viral hemorrhagic gastroenteritis is a very common disease in puppies under 1 year of age, especially if they have not been vaccinated or because the vaccination schedule received was not adequate.
