Abstract:
Social determinants of health (SDoH) significantly influence the development, pro- gression, and outcomes of heart failure (HF) and its subtypes. This study aimed to determine the relationship between SDoH and the diagnosis of heart failure with preserved ejection fraction (HFpEF) vs. heart failure with reduced ejection fraction (HFrEF) using the Healthcare Cost and Utilization Project - National Inpatient Sample (HCUP NIS) dataset 2020.
