Abstract:
This article aimed to provide an overview of the promising potentials of essential oils derived from plants as a natural strategy based on their antioxidative properties to enhance animal productive performance and repro- ductive function, prevent parasite infection, reduce transport stress, hypoxia stress, and heat stress, as well as the underlying mechanism. It highlighted the potential of essential oils to improve productivity while promoting animal welfare and environmental sustainability.
