Needle Knife Treatment of Superficial Peroneal Nerve Entrapment Combined with Lumbar Disc Herniation- A Case Report

Abstract: This study reports the diagnostic and therapeutic course of a patient with superficial peroneal nerve entrapment combined with lumbar disc herniation. The patient complained of low back pain and numbness of the left lower extremity, and imaging showed a posteriorly protruding lumbar 4/5 intervertebral disc, which was initially di- agnosed as a lumbar disc herniation compressing the L5 nerve root.
