Abstract:
Endothelial dysfunction in generalized peritonitis is caused by endotoxinemia and endotoxemia, excessive formation of endoperoxides, nitric oxide, peroxynitrite and superoxide anion, as well as accumulation of asymmetric dimethylarginine, which aggravates this condition.
