Abstract:
The article is devoted to regulation of the road transport in the cities. It is shown the application of the theory of externalities for practical problems of transition to sustainable transport development. The author presented estimates of road transport externalities in Moscow. It is shown that less than a quarter of externalities of road transport in Moscow are internalized. The analysis of results of regulation of road transport in Russia is carried out.
