Innovation activity in the Russian Federation: оbstacles to development

Abstract:
. The article discusses and analyzes the main factors affecting the development of innovation in the Russian Federation. It identifies issues that prevent the transition from the raw material economy to the innovation one, to the industrial production and activities in the field of telecommunications; the development of computer software, the consulting services in that field and other related services; the activities in the field of information technology. The author touches upon the question of the need to integrate business structures, educational and scientific institutions, as well as the state, as a result, that should contribute to improving the quality of training the graduates, strengthen the level of integration between customers of highly specialized employees and their manufacturers, including the development of institutional infrastructure. The necessity of transformation of the regulatory framework in the field of regulation of innovative activity in the territory of the Russian Federation is revealed. The author believes that such transformations are impossible without the process of digitalization, as it acts as a connecting element in overcoming the lag of Russia from other developed countries.
