Issues of single-industry towns development in the sphere of ensuring the access to affordable, reliable, sustainable and modern energy for all (SDG 7). Russian and Swedish best practice

Abstract: Currently, much attention is paid to the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) in Russia and Sweeden. The article, in particular, considers how those countries archived the SDG goal â„– 7 that plays an important role in ensuring the general access to electric energy, clean fuels and cooking technologies; renewable energy sources and reduction in CO2 emissions. In addition, the article looks into the development of single-industry towns in the countries of the world, as well as their achievement of SDG goal 7. Priority is given to examples of best practices for achieving SDG Goal 7 in single-industry towns in Russia and Sweden.
