Abstract:
The article highlights the importance of developing a student’s career potential while studying at a vocational education institution. The development of vocational education, taking into account the career potential of the student, is considered as a starting investment platform in human resour ces to ensure the economic stability of the country’s development. The results of the study identified the factors that influenced students’ choice of a future profession and future place of work for full-time students (college and university).Career potential has no established terminological certainty, therefore it is considered from different points of view. Given the role of career potential in the formation of human capital for a sovereign economy, it becomes advisable to explore the student’s career potential in the interaction of five subpotentials: intellectual, value, the professional qualification, the innovation and creative, psychophysical.
