Factors of sustainable development of the region in the context of sanctions restrictions

Abstract: The article is devoted to identifying the main barriers to the development of the oil and gas complex of the Republic of Tatarstan. Based on risk analysis, the article proposed measures of state support that contribute to the stabilization of the industry.The scientific study raises issues of development of the regional oil and gas complex in the context of sanctions. The current state of the world oil and gas complex can be characterized by global structural shifts, increasing competition and the formation of new alliances. The energy crisis, caused by many macroeconomic and geopolitical prerequisites, leads to a change in global government strategies, which justifies the need to study the theoretical and methodological foundations of state regulation of the industry in order to develop sound management decisions.The attention of the public and the scientific community to the problems of ensuring sustainable development at both the national and regional levels is explained by the current economic realities that require an adequate response and integration into general trends and socio-economic processes. The inevitable gap between science and practice is exacerbated in the face of environmental uncertainty and transformation processes in the global economy. Emerging barriers and restrictions in external and internal markets exacerbate systemic problems and form new ones that require the development of rational sectoral and regional strategies, requiring not only direct government administration, but also the development of tools, indicators and criteria that allow for the implementation, control and evaluation of the effectiveness of the measures being implemented.
