The Optimal Size of the Public Sector in Turke

Abstract:
What the role of the state should have been in economy is one of the important research area in recent years. While welfare society have been expanding in the industrialized countries, developing countries had been adopted many state-controlled development strategies. As a result, the increased size of the scope of government has expanded to all over the world. According to the reviewed literature research and application data, social services have been served with high quality in the developed countries. As a result, the optimal size of the developed countries has been provided. When it is compared with Turkey, our country has been quite behind at optimal quantity. The primary cause of which is the wrong policies that has been implemented. In our Turkey, when the government has been changed, the application forms of social services have also been changed.
