Abstract:
Energy consumption is one of the evidences of economic growth. Petroleum consumption takes the most important share among energy consumption. The relation between the petroleum consumption and economic growth has always been an important research topic because of the petroleum use as an input and energy for industrial production. This paper aims to search the relation between the petroleum consumption and the economic growth in Turkey by using Johansen cointegration test and to analyze the findings.
