Abstract:
Intrapreneurship refers to carrying out entrepreneurial activities in an existing enterprise. Some HR practices which have been found to enable high performance-labeled as high performance work systems (HPWS) - are considered in literature as important dimensions for supporting intrapreneurship and innovation. This study aims at theoretically addressing some potential influences of HPWS on intrapreneurial activities on the basis of fit and flexibility approach in strategic HRM with some examples of changes in HPWS regarding HRM practices.
