A’WOT Analysis of Turkish Banking Sector Against FinTechs

Abstract: This study aims to analyze the situation of the Turkish Banking Sector against FinTechs with the A’WOT method and to make strategy recommendations to the Turkish banks against FinTechs. In this respect, SWOT analysis of the Turkish Banking Sector against FinTechs was studied and the hierarchical structure needed in A’WOT method is formed. In this way, the strengths and weaknesses of the Turkish Banking Sector against FinTechs were identified and threats and opportunities created by the FinTechs for the Turkish Banking Sector were revealed. According to the findings obtained from the surveys conducted with the experts of the subject, it is concluded that Turkish banks see FinTeks as an opportunity. According to this result, strategy suggestions were made to the Turkish Banking Sector.
