Abstract: The main purpose of this study is to examine the role of performance related payment / Premium system on employees in the banking sector. In this context, applying the selected scale it has been determined that general perception of Premium system and the difference in between the levels of department. The sample of the study consisted of 253 bank employees working in eight different departments in a private bank. Tests results indicate that there is a significant difference between the departments and statements: “I am generally satisfied with the Premium system applied in the institution” and “My individual efforts are noticed with the Premium system” as been presented and discussed with in the scope of the study.
