INTERNATIONAL REQUIREMENTS FOR TRAINING AND ACCREDITATION EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS

Abstract:
The article covers the issues connected with requirements for graduates in modern conditions, that defines the «standards» in higher education. Given the characteristics of organizations having in its composition bodies accreditation of educational programs and certification: ABET (USA), ECUK (UK), CCPE (Canada), IEAust (Australia) and others, with an indication of the requirements for specialists, and, accordingly, to the educational programs of educational institutions of those countries that are parties to these organizations and share their goals, objectives and ideas. The differences in training program and accreditation criteria for educational programs between European and American approaches have been analyzed.
