Abstract: In article the author's methodical approach to an estimation of economic potential of raw territory as major factor of maintenance of its competitiveness and choice of toolkit of the strategic analysis is presented. The major directions of maintenance of competitiveness of theTyumenregion are presented and concrete actions for their realization are offered.
