Abstract:
In the article company’s business reputation (goodwill) is analyzed as one of the most important competitive advantages of the Russian metals companies in the current environment characterized byRussia’s accession into the WTO. Additionally reasons explaining why during a long period of time the Russian steelmakers were not able to utilize this intangible asset in the global competition are analyzed. AlsoRussia’s joining WTO is investigated in terms of its impact on the country’s investment climate and companies’ goodwill.
