Abstract: The article examines the role of political factors in the price of energy saving technologies in the market economy. According to this goal, the following objectives: a study of energy pricing in a transition economy, the ability of the price factor to influence the efficient use of energy, the possibility of introducing in countries with economies in transition, market pricing for electricity.
