SECURITY PROBLEMS IN THE ECONOMY OF THE METALLURGICAL COMPLEX OF THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION

Abstract: The paper analyzes the problems of a sustainable economic performance of the metallurgical complex in Russia related to the influence at this complex of key hazards and threats of the modern period of the development. It is considered the dynamics of emergency in the Russian Federation over the last 10 years and the size of the material damage caused by them, the forecast probability (frequency) of the annual occurrence of natural and manmade disasters in the Urals Federal District, that is one of the most saturated material components at metallurgical regions. It is showen also the basic directions of the implementation of a sustainable development and the improve ment of the economy of the metallurgical complex of the country by the Strategy of development of the metallurgical industry of Russia until 2020. It is formed a general approach to the integrated solution of these problems in acute dangers, threats and challenges of the modern world.
