Abstract: The article examines the forecasting of socio-economic system (region), approaches to modeling forecast indicators, the alternative modeling tool production processes based on the use of the production function (PF) in the analytical modeling of regional development, herewith PF parameter estimation is carried out not by time series data, but on regional.
